Happy 2nd Birthday!

I continue to be amazed at what a wonderful little girl I have.  She is her own little person now with strong opinions, wants and needs.  But she is at the same time obedient and kind and loving.  We are really lucky to have such a great daughter.  Her princess/ tractor was tons of fun.

Memorial Day Weekend

We started the weekend up in Vermont with Geege and Big Pete.  The weather was quite warm, but the lake was not.  We took a canoe ride, because only Will was brave enough to get in the water.  We then went to Grandmama and Grampa's house on Monday.  Grampa put on the solar cover so even I was brave enough to spend some time in the water.

Mother's Day

Walking across the yard, she noticed her shadow,  and stopped to wave, saying, "Hi shadow!" 

For Mother's Day, Will and Margaret helped me celebrate in the best way possible:  together.  I realize how corny that sounds, but it was exactly the day I wanted.  Margaret was a big help in the garden planting both flowers and vegetables.  It was the perfect day!

A Day at the Zoo

Margaret and I took advantage of this beautiful spring (feels like summer) weather and visited the zoo.  It was SO much fun.  She was such a big girl and walked all over the zoo.  She did get a piggy back ride by the end.  Each animal brought such big smiles to her face.

Easter fun

Margaret loved looking for Easter Eggs.  She had a hunt with friends, one at church and one with Uncle Anthony.  Others were there for the last one, but she just focused on Uncle Anthony when it comes to the re-telling of it.

Baking Cookies

Four generations! 

Mimi found a cookie recipe she wanted to try so we went over to help her make it.  The center was a Hershey kiss.  Clearly, Margaret and Leah did not want to wait until the cookies were cooked before eating the kisses.
