Muir Woods

The Floeckhers don't tend to sit still for very long so we did A LOT of walking on this trip.  Perhaps our prettiest walk was through the RedWoods in Muir Woods.

San Francisco Tourist

Ghiradelli Sundaes

Can't get enough!

Watching the waves on our way to Alcatraz

We couldn't see San Francisco without doing some of the traditional touristy things.  We visited Pier 39 and toured Alcatraz.  We also spent a small fortune on incredible Ghiradelli Sundaes.

Monterrey Bay

Pebble Beach 18th Green

Cannery Row - add a little literature to the trip

The three of us drove from Sonoma down to Monterrey Bay via the Pacific Coast Highway.  It was beautiful! The drive took a lot longer than we had expected, but it turned out well.  Margaret loved her first trip to the beach.  She took just a minute to explore crawling on the sand and then she was all over the place.

Nature!

Daddy's girl!

We hiked the Russian River before we left the Sonoma Valley.  It was a weird mess of trailer park and beautiful views of nature.

Sonoma Valley

First time having Nutella!

View from our abode in the Valley.

Starting too early!

Can't get enough of this stuff!
We had so much fun on our first official family vacation.  Margaret was a great traveller and we continue to be amazed at how well she rolls with whatever we throw at her.  Tony and Meredith were incredible hosts and we had a blast seeing them again.  We are lucky to have such good friends!
