Pretty flowers!

Taking time to smell the flowers in the backyard.  And Margaret has graduated out of the high chair and into her big girl chair.

Trip to Baltimore

Airplane travel is exhausting!
I love the aquarium!

We took our first family trip to Baltimore for the weekend to celebrate Big Pete's retirement.  Margaret was such a good traveller sleeping on the flight in both directions.  We spent one day at the aquarium.  Margaret really enjoyed watching all the fish swimming around. We hope she is as good on our trip to California the end of this week.

Fun Weekend!

Saturday nights and Sunday mornings aren't quite what they used to be.  We played a little music with Margaret's new "Band in a Box".  Next morning Margaret and Mary Anne were both looking for some dog treats!

It's My Birthday!

Chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast

Pizza with Mommy, Mimi, Aunt Michelle and Leah

Mommy couldn't say 'no' to swimming on my birthday!

I love presents!

Cake please!

Happy Birthday Margaret!  Not surprisingly, I have been pretty emotional today.  I took the day off to spend with my baby and we had so much fun.  How has it been a year already since that crazy trip to the hospital?  I flipped through pictures of her birth and it truly is incredible to see how far she has come.  Will and I are so blessed to have such a healthy, happy baby.

School Party

One of my favorite pictures!

Margaret's first birthday has been a multi-day celebration, as it should be.  We had a little party at school with all of her friends.

First Birthday Party!

Mommy's creative masterpiece

Why are you all singing?

This is delicious!

Try it Mommy

We celebrated Margaret's first birthday with a little pool party.  She had a blast playing with everyone and being cute as ever.  She wasn't too sure about the singing part at first, but as soon as she saw mom carrying a big cake, she broke out a smile.

First time Swimming!

Loves it!

Gardening with Mommy and Daddy in my make-shift cabana
Daddy and Margaret were the first in Grandmama and Grampa's pool this season.  With a water temperature of only 63, we thought Margaret would scream.  Instead she laughed and played with Daddy for about half an hour.  She certainly doesn't take after her mom with regards to cold water!
